Our Real Raw Agave vs. other Agave (Raw and Non-Raw)

·         High in inulin: short chain form of fructose molecules called oligosaccharides, which help the absorption of calcium and magnesium versus other Agave which is processed either at high heat or with enzymes which results in a high fructose syrup.

o        Other agave is considered hydrolyzed, even if it’s raw.

o        Since the result refined man made fructose, it does not contain Levulose which is digested in the intestine. Rather it has to be processed by the liver.

o        This refined high fructose syrup is unbound and interfes with use of key minerals like magnesium, copper and chromium.

Our agave comes from the high desert region of Central Mexico where the plants are found in abundance.

Is it pure?

Yes, it is 100% pure. No additives of any kind.

Does it have allergens?

Agave is gluten free, nut free and dairy free.

To substitute for refined sugar in your favorite recipes:

Use 2/3 cup Agave Nectar per 1 cup of sugar called for. Reduce other liquids by 1 Fl. oz. per 2/3 cup agave, to compensate for the natural water content.

Then, reduce oven temperature 25° F and increase time slightly (6%) to compensate.
